To showcase the power of its iconic 11 herbs and spices, KFC launched #MakeItKFC.
A world-first interactive campaign inviting South Africans to suggest unexpected foods to be “Kentucky Fried.” From broccoli and grapes to biltong and birthday cake, KFC transformed its kitchens into experiential spaces, coating fan-selected items in its signature recipe.
The campaign repositioned KFC’s flavour as universally irresistible while driving cultural relevance among younger audiences through participation and social buzz.
The result: widespread conversation and global media coverage, reinforcing KFC’s status as the country’s top fast-food brand and proving its taste can make anything “finger lickin’ good.”
